what is millet?

The grass family Poaceae includes the cereal known as millet. Particularly in Asia and Africa, this little spherical whole grain is farmed in India and Nigeria. Food made from millet can be cooked for simple digestion, just like brown rice and quinoa.

Millets come in multiple varieties. However, the most popular varieties are sorghum millet, finger millet, foxtail millet, pearl millet, proso millet, and little millet. The high nutritional value of millet makes it one of the breakfast cereals that you absolutely must have in your diet, according to several dieticians and medical professionals. Because it is a more nutrient-dense variety of millet, millet muesli is also advised by diet consultants and experts.
