• Avoid direct sunlight -Try to stay out of the sun during the peak hours of 10 am to 2 pm.
• Use a hat.
• Vitamin C is a nutrient-rich antioxidant known for its powerful skin-brightening and anti-aging properties that helps neutralise free radicals and limit the damage caused by excessive sun exposure.
• Apply SPF- Choose sun protection that is at least SPF 15 and use it daily.it protect your skin from harmful UV rays

Ayurvedic Home Remedies for Hyperpigmentation
1. Turmeric
.Turmeric is a great cure for dermatological issues. From cut and bruise to cancer and skin, turmeric is the ultimate healer This medicinal spice has been a part of skincare since ancient times. its active compound called curcumin.
Curcumin is a great antioxidant and anti-inflammatory properties. This active ingredient also exhibits UV protective qualities.
Turmeric for hyper pigmentation-
Take 2 tsp of turmeric.and Mix it with 1 tsp of curd and 1 tsp of besan.
Make a thick paste by blending or If the paste becomes too thick then adjust it with rose water or plain water or yoghurt.
Apply it on the skin as a pack and let it dry.
Rinse it off with lukewarm water after 10 minutes.
2. Masoor Dal-
Masoor dal face masks are popular ancient depigmentation remedies. It acts as a bleaching agent. Rich in anti-oxidants, Masoor dal exfoliates the skin and helps lighten scars, spots and pigmentation.
Regular use of Masoor Dal paste in skincare will bring a clear, smooth and radiant glow.
Masoor Dal for hyperpigmentation-
Soak Masoor Dal in a bowl of water.
Use a blender to create a fine paste.
Apply the paste on the pigmented area and let it remain for 20 minutes.
Once dried rinse it off with cold water.
3. Sandalwood
Sandalwood is a very effective remedy for removing tanning, dark spots and acne. It has a soothing and cooling effect on the skin that caresses and nourishes it. This aids in lightening and softening the skin.Use the sandalwood in the form of powder to get the best benefits.
Sandalwood for hyperpigmentation-
Take 1 teaspoon of sandalwood powder.
Mix it with 1 tsp of orange juice to make a thick paste.
Apply it over the dark spots and affected areas.
Leave it on for 20 minutes to dry.
Rinse it off with lukewarm water
4. Saffron
Saffron is hailed for its skin lightening properties.Saffron is an excellent Ayurvedic natural ingredient for reducing pigmentation and dark spots. Dark spots on the skin is a common complaint in pregnancy. Saffron works great in reducing blemishes. It is a natural exfoliator that removes dead cells from the skin revealing spotless skin.
Saffron for hyper pigmentation-
Soak a few strands of saffron in a teaspoon of water.
Add two teaspoons of turmeric powder to it.
Mix it well to make a paste.
Apply this paste over the affected skin.
5.Green Tea Extract-
Green tea is rich in antioxidants which work great for the skin. It can alleviate photoaging of the skin and protect it against spots and blemishes.
Green tea for hyperpigmentation-
Boil a pot of water and steep a green tea bag in it for a few minutes.
Take out the tea bag and rub it over the pigmented skin.
Repeat it twice a day for god results
6. Aloe vera gel-
Aloe vera gel is one of the most magical skincare ingredients . This hydrating gel has amazing UV protective actions that can prevent hyperpigmentation.
Aloe vera is proven to lighten dark spots and cure blemishes. It has anti-oxidizing and anti-inflammatory effects that remove dark spots and scars. Aloe vera gel contains a depigmenting compound that can lighten the skin tone naturally.
Aloe vera gel for hyperpigmentation-
gel with a scoop and filter it well.
Apply this gel on the pigmented areas before bedtime.
Let it sit for the night and rinse off the next morning.
Repeat it every day for a visible change in skin colour.
7.Tomato-
Tomato is rich in lycopene which can protect the skin against sun damage. Lycopene protects the skin against short-term and long-term sun damage. It is also rich in antioxidants that keep your skin young and radiant.
Tomato Paste for hyperpigmentation-
Chop tomato and grind it into a fine paste.
Apply the juice to the affected area.
Leave it on for 20 minutes and wash off.
8. Milk-
Milk is the best natural cleanser.It is rich in lactic acid that washes away dead cells and helps to brighten and lighten dark spots.
Milk for hyperpigmentation-
Take a tablespoon of milk
Soak a cotton ball in it.
Rub it over the affected skin and leave it for 20 minutes.
Rinse off your face with some water and
Repeat it twice a day every day
9. Potato-
Potatoes exhibit amazing anti-pigmentation properties. It is very effective in treating dark spots caused by excessive melanin.
Potato contains an enzyme that can inhibit the production of melanin. Melanin is responsible for the darkening of the skin. Regular use of potato on the skin helps to lighten dark spots and prevent blemishes.
Potato juice for hyperpigmentation-
Peel a potato and chop it into small pieces.
Rub a slice of potato on the affected area for about 5 minutes.
Wash off your face with lukewarm water.
10. Papaya
Papaya is one of the most nutritious fruits that’s easily available. It is rich in an enzyme called papain which is a natural exfoliator. Papain removes the dead skin and helps in the regeneration of new skin cells.
Papaya for hyperpigmentation-
Take papaya extract, milk and honey add these ingredients bowl .
Mix well until they are properly blended.
Apply it on your face and allow it to stay for about 20 minutes.
Rinse off using cold water.
